A clinic is a group service running over one or two days, covering a single area in more depth than a lesson allows.
Subjects range from groundwork through to advanced dressage, and are announced ahead of each clinic.
How a clinic works
I start with the concepts behind the work, then we put them into practice with the horses that are there.
Because the group is small, there is time to look at each horse individually rather than running everyone through the same exercise.
Open trainings
Alongside the clinics I run open trainings, where theory and practice come together in a single day.
I explain the thinking behind the work first, then we take it into the arena with the horses that are there, so you can carry on at home with what you have learned.
Two ways to join
You can join with your own horse and work through the material as a participant.
You can also join as an observer. Watching other horses and riders at work is a genuinely useful way to learn, and it costs less than participating.
